It is a busy summer here at TJE! Last weekend we enjoyed not one, but 8 different programs from Friday through Sunday! That, plus a special guest speaker at our Wednesday night learning AND a packed Thursday night while our Kiddush Cup teams prepare for their finale! Last weekend was a truly special weekend here at The Jewish Experience. Instead of just one Shabbat Dinner, we hosted An Olami Wine Tasting, A Shabbos Dinner for Olami, A Shabbos Lunch the following day with the Women’s Experience, followed by Family Experience programming and Speed Dating the following Sunday! In lieu of photos during Shabbat here is a quick snap of our Chef Cheryl Leban hard at work preparing to feed everyone through all of those events!
This Wednesday, as part of our regular Food For Thought Wednesday night classes, we were honored to have a special guest with us – Jolie Eisen. Eisen was born and raised in Denver and recently moved to Israel with her husband Brent and their 4 children. She shared with us what it has been like to be the mother of a commander of ground forces in Gaza. Thank you so much to Jolie and family for taking the time to share your story with us!
Also this week – our four teams are hard at work preparing for the finale to the Kiddush Cup! All four teams – Olami, Akiva, Women’s and Family – all met to work on their Kiddush Cup finals – which will be presented at this year’s Wine & Cheese Gala. Here is a quick look at the teams hard at work!
